What is Memory Gems?
Memory Gems is a personal memory capture app that lets you record moments in text, images, videos, and voice — then resurfaces them through customizable notifications so you never forget what matters.
Is Memory Gems free?
Yes! The free tier includes text-based gems with local storage on your device. Premium unlocks cloud sync, media support (images, videos, voice), and more.
How do I upgrade to Premium?
Open the app and tap on the Premium section in Settings. You can subscribe through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Where is my data stored?
Free tier: all data stays on your device in an encrypted local database. Premium: data syncs securely to the cloud (encrypted in transit and at rest) so you can access it across devices.
Can I export my data?
Premium users can export their data from the app settings. We believe your memories belong to you.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android) account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from the app settings. All associated cloud data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
I lost my gems! Can you recover them?
If you're a Premium user with cloud sync enabled, your data is backed up and can be restored by signing back into your account. For free tier users, data stored only on-device cannot be recovered if the app is uninstalled or the device is lost.
Do you sell my data?
Never. We don't sell, share, or use your personal data for advertising or AI training. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
